Annual Halloween Pirate Adventure
MN Jack Sparrow gives back to his community by putting on a Halloween Pirate Adventure for trick-or-treaters. He does this with the help of the Buchanan Buccaneers, a volunteer group of local pirates and good friends. They spend hundreds of hours helping MN Jack Sparrow build the scenes of Tortuga to create an interactive world of pirates for people to experience firsthand what it was like to be a pirate in the 17th century. The 1500+ people every year get to experience a cave full of treasure, meet pirates in jail, they may even escape through a ship battle after being signed up to be part of the crew and meet MN Jack Sparrow along their journey. Every year the adventure grows a little and the story changes, but it’s always a great time and each kid leaves with a piece of treasure.
